Magnitude 4.5 hits Xinjiang, China…

The quake from the last pattern is most likely the M4.5 that hit Xinjiang, China, at 18:43 UTC on Wednesday. Usually, I point out that quakes below M5.0 often do not show up on The Device. The one fact that was unusual about this quake, however, was that it happened quite close to the surface – only in about 1km depth. In my opinion, this is the very reason why it could be detected in the first place.
